Halloween is all taken care of. I’ve bought a killer black studded polyester Elvis suit with a cape. My Elvis and Carl Perkins fascination has taken an active turn. The studs are guitar unfriendly, tho. There’s got to be a way to protect the guitar’s back from being scratched to pieces. A hunka hunka ; – )

It looks like the Carl Perkins notion has grown tentacles. Trish and I saw Carl Mann perform his hit Mona Lisa, along with other rockabilly, in Huntingdon, TN. After being more or less out of the music business for decades he has opend a small museum, restaurant, and concert hall just a few buildings off of the court square. I doubt that it looks much different from the way it did 50 years ago.
